Ribbon cutting of Studios at Montero becoming a Supportive Housing Site (City of Petaluma)

Petaluma’s first permanent supportive housing site is officially open. Studios at Montero on Montero Way in north Petaluma had a ribbon cutting event last Thursday to house 60 homeless individuals. The former motel was bought and was changed for permanent supportive housing thanks to $15.6-million through Project Homekey. Studios at Montero is run by Burbank Housing with the nonprofit COTS providing “comprehensive supportive services to all project residents.” A soft opening was done in May with some residents moving in. However, all the housing units were not ready at that time.
