Five people were injured in a series of chain-reaction crashes on Highway 101 near Healdsburg. On Wednesday evening, a crash happened in the southbound lanes at about 6pm which caused northbound drivers to slow down to see what was happening. This led to three separate crashes in the northbound lanes. All of the injured parties were from one vehicle, which CHP describes as a red or burgundy car. At least one person was airlifted to a hospital. Northbound 101 was closed for about an hour-and-a-half before one lane was reopened.
