Former Vice-President Mike Pence is coming to wine country. Pence will be the keynote speaker at the Napa Institute summer conference that begins on Wednesday. He is scheduled to speak Thursday. The conference is held annually at the Meritage Resort and Spa. According to the website, the focus of this year’s conference is “recovering the presence of Jesus Christ … at the heart of our daily lives.” Former attorney general under President Trump, William Barr spoke at the conference last year. A small group of protesters peacefully disrupted Barr’s speech.
