The largest homeless shelter in the North Bay is getting some upgrades. Santa Rosa’s Samuel L. Jones Hall is getting new bathrooms and partitions to protect residents’ privacy. The 213-bed shelter opened in 2005 and is operated by Catholic Charities. Last year it served 660 people. The city, which owns the facility, is not planning to add more beds at this time.
