The County of Sonoma and one of its contractors is again under the spotlight. A former employee of DEMA Consulting and Management, Kyle Wescott, has filed a lawsuit against the company for sexual harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination. The Press Democrat reports that Wescott and Branden Bowman, both paramedics for DEMA, were harassed into taking off their shirts at a company party in August of 2021. They also stated that several female attendees there, including county health department leader Tina Rivera, scrolled through photos of Wescott and Bowman’s bodybuilding photos online, commenting on the photos. Rivera denies this version of events saying she did not sexually harass anyone there.
