Filmmaker George Lucas is suing to maintain control of a small strip of land in San Anselmo. The suit filed in May says that the land is essentially a driveway to one of his many San Anselmo properties. However, it wasn’t until recently that Lucas found out that it wasn’t part of his parcel. Lucas wants to make sure that the strip of land isn’t claimed by the heirs of several of his deceased neighbors. The town of San Anselmo is also named as a defendant in the case. Lucas has owned the parcel in question since 1990 and has 24 parcels in San Anselmo worth over $41-million.
