A Forestville boy sells two hogs at the Sonoma County Fair for his ailing brother, including one to chef Guy Fieri. Press Democrat reports that ten-year-old Jaxon Trappe spent four months raising Pepa and Daddy Pig all to be sold at the junior livestock auction at the Sonoma County Fair. Jaxon sold the pair successfully for nearly $10,000 with Daddy Pig going to Guy Fieri. Jaxon is pledging that half of his earnings will go to the National MPS Society for research into the little-known disease MPS-1, also known as Hurler’s Syndrome. His six-year-old brother, Jett, suffers from the disease and has gone through several treatments and surgeries in his young life. Meanwhile, Fieri said he’ll likely donate Daddy Pig to the Redwood Gospel Mission.
