Work to replace Los Alamos Trunk Sewer Pipes will begin Sunday night. The project will replace about 5,300 feet of the existing Los Alamos Trunk sewer pipeline installed in the 1950s. Construction will begin at Streamside Drive and progress eastward to Elaine Drive. Night work is tentatively scheduled to start at 7 p.m. on Sunday, August 13, lasting approximately one week near Mission Circle. Night work will begin again in early September, lasting about 4 to 5 weeks, weather permitting. Once sewer and water improvements are installed, streets will be re-paved, and pedestrian ramps will be improved where necessary. The project is anticipated to be completed in Fall 2024.
