A pig bought by Guy Fieri at the Sonoma County Fair is being donated. The celebrity chef bought a 266-pound hog named Daddy Pig for $4,850 from 10-year-old Jaxson Trappe. Fieri is having the pig processed and packed for the Salvation Army and Redwood Gospel Mission. Jaxson himself made nearly $10,000 from selling two pigs at auction during the fair. He’s donating half his earnings to the National MPS Society research into the little-known disease MPS-1, also known as Hurler’s Syndrome, that his brother, Jett, is sick with.
