We have some more information regarding a Sunday morning shooting in southeast Santa Rosa. A 33-year-old man was driving and stopped at a gate for a residential condo complex in the 700 block of Aston Avenue. While in or near his vehicle, the driver was approached by someone armed with a handgun who shot the driver several times. The suspect then fled in a vehicle. Officers responded to reports of gunshots and the man was transported to a local hospital and remains in critical condition. Police are still trying to determine who shot the man and why. A reward of up to $2,500 is being offered by the Sonoma County Alliance Community Engagement and Safety Rewards Fund. The reward is for information leading to the arrest of the suspect or suspects involved in this case.
