One person and their three dogs are safe after a small house fire in Boyes Hot Springs. The fire broke out early Tuesday morning on the 100 block of De Chene Avenue starting on the outside of the house. Firefighters arrived quickly and managed to contain the flames within 20 minutes. The flames, smoke, and water caused nearly $150,000 in damages. The cause of the fire hasn’t been determined but arson is not suspected.
