California is sending more resources to help battle wildfires in Hawaii and Oregon. The Golden State is deploying more than one-hundred specialized personnel to assist in recovery efforts in Hawaii after wildfires ripped through the island of Maui. Meanwhile in Oregon, multiple wildfires continue to burn across the west slope of the Cascades. Governor Newsom has directed Cal OES to send five firefighting strike teams to help Oregon battle the Lookout and Bedrock fires.
