Suspected Drug Dealer with Meth Arrested in Petaluma During Traffic Stop

A Sebastopol man has been arrested in Petaluma for drug sales. Late Wednesday morning around Industrial Avenue and Corona Road, an officer pulled over a vehicle for false registration tabs. The driver, James Caulfield, was on probation and subject to search. The officer and his K-9 searched the vehicle and found 53 grams of suspected meth, a digital scale, packaging consistent with narcotic sales, and drug paraphernalia. Caulfield was arrested for possession of meth for the purpose of sales, transportation of meth for the purpose of sales, violation of probation, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving on a suspended drivers license.
