A discussion about an invasive beetle that’s been tearing up Sonoma County’s oak trees is planned for later this month. The U.C. Cooperative Extension will host a workshop on August 31st. Arborists and the public are invited to learn about the Mediterranean Oak Borer. The discussion will focus on improving understanding of the biology, ecology and management of the insect. The workshop will be held at the U.C. Cooperative Extension on Aviation Boulevard.
