Kaiser Permanente is giving out free Narcan. The opioid overdose reversal drug will be available to members and non-members in Northern California. Officials with Kaiser Permanente Santa Rosa Medical Center say anyone can ask for naloxone, the generic name for Narcan, in their emergency department. The nasal spray will be offered to those who choose to stay anonymous. And, checking in as a patient is not required.
