Man Arrested for Possessing Drugs and Knives in Healdsburg

A man on probation has been arrested in Healdsburg after being found with drugs and knives. Early Friday morning, police saw a suspicious vehicle parked at a closed business in the 100 block of Healdsburg Avenue. Cops talked to the people in the car, including John Carpenter of Rohnert Park who was on felony probation and in violation of his sex registration status. Police searched the vehicle and found fentanyl, meth, knives, and an ax. Carpenter was arrested on several charges including failing to register as a sex offender, possession of fentanyl as a sex offender, possession of methamphetamine as a sex offender, violation of felony probation, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
