A new bill has been passed to address harassment on California State University campuses. The state legislature passed the bill last Friday that would increase accountability and oversight in the resolution of harassment and violence cases on CSU’s 23 campuses. The bill now requires the outcome of any sexual harassment settlements to be posted on college websites and reported to the Legislature. It was sponsored by North Bay State Senator Bill Dodd who is now planning on follow-up legislation that would address other State Auditor recommendations. The bill now heads to the Governor’s desk for signing.
