Small Petaluma Farm Gets Grant Funding

Bounty Farm, a small urban farm in Petaluma, is getting grant funding from Sonoma County. Petaluma People Services is getting more than two-million-dollars to help it buy two-point-seven acres of land to expand the farm and secure its future. The farm, which has been operated on leased property for nearly 15 years, grows fresh fruits and vegetables for low-income families and seniors. It was recently awarded the open space grant funding by the Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation and Open Space District.
