K-9 Bruno Retires from the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office

A good boy has retired his badge. K-9 officer Bruno has retired from the Sonoma County Sheriff’s office after 8 years of service. He actually started at the Vallejo Police Department but came over after his handler, Officer Hector Campos, was hired by the sheriff’s office. Bruno is trained in suspect apprehension and narcotic detection. Over the course of his career, Bruno has helped bring countless suspects into custody, taken drugs off the street in conjunction with our Property Crimes unit, but more importantly he has helped keep Deputy Campos and the rest of the team safe.
