Firefighters are making progress against a brush fire in Lake County. The Creek Fire started near Lower Lake at about 3:30 Wednesday afternoon. It has burned 28 acres of land and is now 65-percent contained. Some residents were evacuated but there are no reports of injuries or damage. The evacuation orders have since been downgraded to warnings.
