The popular principal of a high school in Petaluma was fired for allegedly misusing a school-issued credit card. Patrick Daly was let go from Saint Vincent de Paul High School in late August. The Reverend William Donahue, the school pastor and president, says tens of thousands of dollars in unauthorized charges were made to a school credit card issued to Daly. Donahue says the charges and other school financial records are being investigated. Petaluma police have been notified. Daly, who was principal for six years, denies the allegations.
