Could we see another record year for the Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport? Airport Manager Jon Stout tells the Press Democrat that they will be close to passing last year’s record breaking passenger count of nearly 615-thousand. Through August, over 408-thousand passengers have traveled through the Sonoma County Airport, up 2.5-percent from this time last year. Stout credits this partly to Alaska Airlines swapping out smaller aircraft for the larger Boeing 737 planes which can carry more passengers.
