A man who was convicted of attempted murder after a shooting in Rohnert Park may be retried as a minor. Edward Beltran injured four people in a shooting at Jacobs Park in June of 2019. He was convicted in adult court. But, since he was 17-years-old at the time of the shooting, his conviction may be voided, then he may be retried in juvenile court. Attorneys will argue the matter during a court hearing that has been scheduled for January.
