A man from Santa Rosa has been found guilty in cases of an armed robbery in 2021 and a double shooting in 2022. Twenty-nine-year-old Marcell Leroy Battiest was convicted of ten felony counts on Thursday, including two counts of attempted murder following a shooting that happened last October. One of the victims was seriously injured. Battiest also robbed a woman at gunpoint in February of 2021. A sentencing date has not been set.
