Items confiscated from Taylor Jones and Jaewon Hwang 9-14-23 (Petaluma Police)
A handgun and drugs were found after Petaluma police responded to a retail theft. Last Thursday afternoon, a theft was reported at Factory Brand Shoes at the Petaluma Factory Outlets. A short time later, police found the suspects vehicle pulling into the Gateway Shopping Center. Inside, they found the stolen merchandise along with illegal drugs including 23 grams of meth, drug paraphernalia, an unregistered firearm and ammunition. Two of the five people inside were arrested: Taylor Jones and Jaewon Hwang, both of San Rafael. The others were released.
