DUI Driver Arrested in Petaluma After Crashing Injuring Three People

A DUI driver was arrested after causing a crash with injuries in Petaluma. Late Wednesday morning, a truck driven by Ian Streebel of Santa Rosa was going eastbound on Lakeville Highway towards Highway 37. Streebel lost control of his vehicle, swerved into oncoming traffic, and broadsided a car. Both vehicles were heavily damaged and airbags were deployed. Meanwhile, three people inside the car sustained minor to moderate injuries. Streebel was evaluated at a local hospital. It was determined he was driving under the influence of drugs. Streebel was arrested for DUI with injury.
