Santa Rosa Police have arrested a juvenile for carrying a concealed handgun. On Monday afternoon, an officer pulled over a vehicle that made an unsafe turn and almost hit another car in the area of Sebastopol Avenue and Roberts Road. During the stop, the male passenger in the front seat got out and ran away and dropped a black satchel near another parked vehicle. After being caught, police searched the satchel and found a loaded handgun inside. They also found ammunition on the floorboard of the car. The suspect, who initially gave a false name, was determined to be 15-years-old and was arrested. The other three occupants of the car were not charged.
