An attempted stabbing in a Santa Rosa mental health group home on Wednesday led to the arrest of 71-year-old John Jennings. The Santa Rosa Police Department thinks it was Jennings’ intent to stab an employee and one of the officers on scene. Jennings was arrested and booked under two felony offenses: assault with a deadly weapon as well as assault with a deadly weapon on a police officer.
