The parents of a student who was killed in a stabbing at Montgomery High School are filing a wrongful death suit. The parents of the 16-year-old boy, who was stabbed during a fight in a classroom in March, accuse the Santa Rosa City Schools District of failing to protect their son. The lawsuit also names school and district administrators. And, the lawsuit claims administrators knew the 15-year-old student accused in the deadly stabbing had a history of fighting and had been seen with a knife on campus. The parents also say school staff failed to provide timely medical care to their son after he’d been wounded.
