One suspect has been arrested for a fatal shooting in Point Arena but another is still on the loose. Early Sunday morning, Mendocino County deputies responding to a reported assault found a deceased man, Jesus Romero, with gunshot wounds on Ten Mile Cut Off Road. That night, one of the suspects, Antonio Coria Garcia, contacted deputies after being identified as a potential suspect. After speaking with Garcia, deputies arrested him on suspicion of murder and using a firearm. A second suspect, not identified to the public, remains at large. An autopsy will be performed on Romero later this week to determine the official cause of death.
