Nearly $22-Million Approved for Road Repaving in Santa Rosa Due to Tubbs Fire

Money is going to repaving streets damaged in Santa Rosa during the 2017 Tubbs Fire. The city council has approved nearly $22-million for the Coffey Park and Fountaingrove Neighborhood Roads Disaster Recovery project. Thirty-three miles of roads will be resurfaced over 18 months. Nearly $14-million dollars for the project is coming from a recovery grant from the California Department of Housing and Urban Development. Another $5.6million is coming from PG&E as well as funding from Capital Facility fees, Utility Impact fees, and Measure M traffic relief funds. You can find updates on the project as well as street closures at NeighborhoodRoadRecovery.Com. Residents may also subscribe to receive email updates on this construction project by visiting the project recovery webpage on the City’s website www.SRCity.org/RoadRecovery.
