Switchblade found on student at Slater Middle School (Santa Rosa Police)
A Slater Middle School student has been arrested for bringing a switchblade on campus. On Thursday morning, a 12-year-old student got into a fight with a group of students and was brought to the front office as a result. His belongings were searched and officials found a switchblade knife. Police arrested him and released him on citation to his parents for bringing a dangerous weapon on school grounds. Due to his age, his name will not be released.
