The winners of the Sonoma County Harvest Fair Awards Gala have been announced. It was a huge weekend for family-owned wineries, which swept the sweepstakes awards. Healdsburg’s Wilson Winery took home the top honors for red wine with their 2021 Zinfandel Reserve from Dry Creek Valley. The judges picked the 2021 Chardonnay from Russian River Valley made by Fritz Underground Winery of Cloverdale as the best white wine. The sweepstakes specialty winner was De La Montanya Vineyards & Winery for their 2020 Twisted Jill Blanc de Blanc from the Russian River Valley. You can taste these wines and others at the Harvest Fair Grand Tasting on Saturday, October 14th at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds.
