Homeless Woman Rams Stolen Truck into Santa Rosa Police Car

A homeless woman from Santa Rosa has been arrested after ramming a stolen truck into a police vehicle. Early Sunday morning, an officer patrolling the area of Marlow Road and Piner Road saw a white pickup truck swerving and driving at inconsistent speeds. The truck fled as the officer attempted to pull it over. A cop attempted a pit maneuver which caused the truck to spin 180 degrees. However, the truck didn’t stop and hit another patrol car in their front left bumper. After the crash, the truck stopped and the driver, 37-year-od Jasmin Colunga, surrendered to police. Officers then discovered that Colunga stole the truck which is why she fled. No injuries were reported.
