Court proceedings are being rescheduled in the trial of a Petaluma resident whose son played in the NFL. Annette Wright, the mother of Phil “Scooby” Wright the Third, is accused of stealing money from her former employer, Erickson Productions, which is a photo and video production company based in Petaluma. Wright had been told to prepare for her jury trial this week. But, last week, her attorney filed a motion asking a judge to postpone this week’s court appearance, which the judge approved. Wright’s attorney says the defense and prosecution are discussing a possible settlement.
