A convicted felon has been arrested in Santa Rosa for selling counterfeit pills believed to be fentanyl. Santa Rosa police had been investigating Felix Miguel Alvarado since early September for selling suspected counterfeit Xanax pills filled with Fentanyl. This past Tuesday, officers stopped Alvarado while driving and found about 45 counterfeit Xanax pills in his vehicle. They then searched his apartment on the 400 block of Beaver Street and found another 250 counterfeit Xanax pills, a loaded 44 magnum revolver, 14 grams of suspected cocaine, clean packaging materials, and a digital scale. Alvarado was arrested on multiple drug and firearm counts.
