There are no movie theaters left in Cloverdale. The city’s only movie theater, The Clover, announced it is permanently closing on Tuesday. In an email to movie members, co-owner Ryan Hecht says the theater ran out of money, and there were no solutions for how to keep it open. Hecht says he hoped to keep The Clover open until at least the end of the month, banking on higher attendance from Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour” movie. But, attendance was too low.
