A 27-year-old transient from Washington state has been charged with murder in connection to the death of a 70-year-old man near Sebastopol. The victim’s remains were found on a rural property south of Sebastopol last weekend. The suspect, Dylan Ockerman, is accused of murder and lying in wait. Authorities say the victim was Mark Sullivan, who had been reported missing in late August. Ockerman is accused of killing Sullivan with a rock and a knife. It’s unclear if the two men knew each other.
