Portions of Highway 12 will be closed for the next two weekends as Caltrans continues its repaving project that began in July. Eastbound Highway 12 will be closed from Merced Road to North Dutton Avenue beginning 8 p.m. Friday. It will be reopened at 5 a.m. Monday. One lane will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. over the weekend, with both lanes shutting down from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. The same closures will be in effect the following week.
