PEP Housing Raises Over $100,000 During its Annual Gala

A longtime Sonoma County nonprofit that manages affordable housing for older residents is celebrating its 45th year. The Press Democrat reports that PEP Housing hosted its annual gala this past Saturday at Iron & Vine Restaurant at the Bennett Valley Golf Course. It raised over $100,000 through $150 ticket sales as well as live and silent auctions and donations. One auction item was a date night package for two to Sonoma’s Sojourn Cellars, which included transportation, a $300 gift card to Glen Ellen Star and a magnum bottle of wine from St. Francis Winery & Vineyards. PEP Housing manages 21 properties that house senior citizens with an average fixed rent of $426. They also provide supportive services and advocacy.
