A driver has been arrested after crashing his truck into a Santa Rosa home. Santa Rosa police reported yesterday that 58-year-old Juan Calderon Hernandez was driving southbound on Dutton Avenue just north of West 8th Street. He crossed over all northbound lanes and hit a house on the east side of Dutton Avenue. The front of the vehicle struck the gas meter on the west side of the house, causing damage and a leak. In an abundance of caution, officers evacuated the residence. Police arrived and found that Hernandez had a Blood Alcohol Content of over twice the legal limit. He was arrested on two DUI charges. No one was injured from the crash.
