A preliminary hearing for a Healdsburg Hotel manslaughter case is set for January. The defendant, Romario Cisneros of Santa Rosa, will return to court on January 22nd for a preliminary hearing in the involuntary manslaughter case of Abel Garza. On July 2nd, Garza attacked employees at the H2 Hotel on Healdsburg Avenue with a metal bar. Garza, who was not a guest at the hotel, left and later came back that same day with a hammer and the metal bar, swinging at hotel staff and injuring at least one person. Cisneros then hit Garza with the metal bar while across the street from the hotel. Garza was declared dead at the scene by medical personnel. Cisneros cooperated with police and was arrested in August.
