More Beds Added to Los Guilicos Village But None for the Homeless

The homeless shelter at Los Guilicos Village in Oakmont is adding 80 new beds. But, none of them are reserved for homeless people in Sonoma Valley, where the shelter is located. The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors approved a contract to add the beds last week. But, the board did not specify if the more than 120 homeless people in the area will have priority. There is currently no functional homeless shelter or emergency winter shelter serving Sonoma Valley.
