The trial of the student who fatally stabbed another student at Montgomery High School starts today. Arguments will be heard for and against Daniel Pulido in Sonoma County Juvenile Court before Judge Kenneth Gnoss. Pulido has pleaded not guilty to voluntary manslaughter and having a weapon on campus. Pulido stabbed 16-year-old Jayden Pienta in front of an art class back in March of this year. Pienta died of his injuries at a hospital and Pulido was found by police hiding in a nearby creek bed.
