PG&E Rate Hike Vote Pushed Back a Couple of Weeks

Millions of Californians will have to wait longer to find out about their electric bills. A rate hike vote was supposed to happen today but has been pushed back two weeks. PG&E is asking state regulators to raise prices again, somewhere between 25-to-31 dollars each month come January. The utility serves about 16-million people and says the increase is necessary to cover the cost of new underground power lines in areas at highest risk of a fire.
