Animal welfare activist Wayne Hsiung has been convicted of trespassing and conspiracy-related charges after leading protests at poultry farms near Petaluma in 2018 and 2019. On Thursday, the 42-year-old was found guilty of two misdemeanor trespassing counts and a felony count of conspiracy to commit trespass. The jury remained deadlocked on a second felony conspiracy charge. Jury deliberations took nearly a week. Hsiung will be sentenced on November 30th.
