Santa Rosa has been ranked in a new study for best and worst college towns and cities in the country. WalletHub ranked over 400 cities across the country looking at 31 key indicators of academic, social and economic opportunities for students. Santa Rosa ranked 284th overall and 98th among midsize cities. We were rated very well for academic and economic opportunities but lacked in wallet friendliness and social environment.
Irvine was the highest ranked city in the Golden State at 24th overall. Austin, Texas took the top spot in the country.
