Arrested Animal Welfare Activists to Appear in Court December 14th

Three animal welfare activists who were arrested outside Sonoma County Superior Court last week have a court date on December 14th. The trio was arrested last Thursday, following the sentencing of fellow animal welfare activist Wayne Hsiung. Two of the demonstrators had warrants out for their arrests. They are accused of conspiracy and trespassing following protests at private poultry farms in the North Bay earlier this year. Hsiung was also charged and later convicted of conspiracy and trespassing.
