California has landed on another top ten list, but this one isn’t something to brag about. The CDC has a list of the top ten states for highest rates of influenza in the country. The California Department of Public Health lists RSV at around a 12-percent infection level and the flu at just over seven percent. Some medical professionals say getting vaccinated for flu early makes sense, as it takes about two weeks for protection to kick in.
