A Santa Rosa resident accused of murdering his sister-in-law is scheduled to go on trial in late April. Varinder Singh is accused of stabbing his sister-in-law 37 times in April of 2022. Investigators say he retaliated after she confronted him about abusing her sister. The 35-year-old Singh faces life in prison if convicted as charged.
